Hyundai Kona will be cheaper

Hyundai Kona has been on the market for two years, and over 10,000 copies roll on Norwegian roads. Last year, it ended up in sixth place in the registration statistics. So far, Kona has only been available with a 64 kWh battery in Norway, but today came the news that the company is introducing a new and cheaper variant in the Norwegian market.


The 2021 Kona Electric Trend Standard Range gets a starting price of 41,675 euros, and is equipped with a battery pack of 39.2 kWh and an engine that provides 136 horsepower. According to Hyundai, it will give a range of 305 kilometers.

The version with 64 kWh battery is continued, here the range is 484 kilometers (WLTP).

The 2021 Kona Electric gets improved assistance and safety features, completely new technology and a new design that makes it an even more attractive package. In addition, all editions receive new and very attractive prices.


The equipment level is divided into Life, Trend and Premium.
