It is in three parts, but as good and solid as most things produced in Germany. Under the soft mattress, there are independent springs of a clever dish-shaped form, laid on a solid lattice base. On the one hand, this design provides the correct rigidity from the point of view of orthopaedic doctors, on the other hand, it allows you to toss and turn from side to side without forcing the bedmate to change his position: the hammock effect is minimized. So that you have no doubts: the size of the sleeping compartment is 1980 × 1070 mm, which allows for double occupancy. Before spending the night, do not forget to darken the windows with blinds and install insect-proof ventilation grilles on the front door windows. Whether or not to cover the optional glass roof is a tricky question. For some, there is no greater happiness than falling asleep looking at the starry sky overhead. Such views, according to one German, strengthen the moral law within us.


As an add-on for the Caddy California, there is a “three-room” tent made of lightweight and durable material. The tent can accommodate up to six people, but even if two people go on a trip, additional living space will not be unnecessary: it will be possible to organize a dining room, a place for thinking about the meaning of life, a nursery, a boudoir. The tarpaulin can be attached to the rear of the car, to the open tailgate, and just as easy to detach.
